Flexible Packaging 2 Part Polyurethane Adhesive Colorless To Yellowish Color
INTRODUCTION OF 8711
8711A in combination with Hardener 8711B is a two-component polyurethane adhesive for various film/film laminates, 8711A/8711B is used for making high performance composite films. In a variety of film/film composite process it showed excellent bonding performance. This product has low viscosity and shorter curing time; the film has a good wet ability and other characteristics, and has lower solvent residues, suitable for high-solid, low –viscosity and high-speed dry composite processing technology.
Properties
1.Preparation of Adhesive Mixture:
After having added the right quantity of solvent to 8711A and having achieved the required solids 8711B has to be stirred into the 8711A/solvent mixture.
When the ethyl acetate is used for dilution, to obtain an accurate solid content, it is required to refer to the following solvents.

2.Typical working concentration - viscosity curves are as follows:
Pot life:
The ready-for-use adhesive in closed containers has a working time of about 8 hours. The composite machine is not used up of adhesive, the retention time of more than 4hours, if more than 4 hours should be abandoned, otherwise it may lead to unstable composite films.
Tropical area (Temperature >28°C + humidity >60%)pot life:Mixed good adhesive should be used up within 2 hours.
3.Pressure adjustment:
Appropriate increase in composite temperature and compound roll pressure can improve the bonding effect and surface finish of the composite.
4.Curing:
Storage at higher temperatures (40°C-50°C) room, various film/film and film/foil laminates can cutting in 24 hours. Such as curing bag processing should be appropriate to extend the curing time.
5.Film properties:
The completely cured 8711 polyurethane film is transparent, odorless, elastic and resistant.
6. Matters needing attention
As the adhesive contains polyisocyanates any contact with skin has to be removed.
